Announcement! (updated 1/31/2024)

The Food Initiative of Greater Stanislaus is excited to announce that we have taken the leap in our transition to a mobile-first program format. FIGS has sold our 120 Kerr Avenue property to our friends, partners and neighbors at the Modesto Gospel Mission (read our joint press release here).

Our new addresses are

WAREHOUSE

650 Janopaul Lane

Modesto, CA 95351

and

ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE / MAILING ADDRESS

210 S. Sierra Avenue

Oakdale, CA 95361

No client-facing services will be offered at these locations.

For locations, dates and times of distribution for our Mobile Food Pantry, see our Schedule.

We will be adding mobile sites throughout the county in the coming weeks and months. Check this space frequently, follow us on Facebook or Instagram or subscribe to our blog to be kept up-to-date as locations and new programs are announced, as well as important information regarding volunteer and employment opportunities, monetary and food and clothing donations, and for information about additional services offered by our partner organizations.

If you have access to a site in Stanislaus County that you believe would be a good fit to host our Mobile Pantry and/or Clothes Closet services, you can fill out the Mobile Pantry Interest Form here.

The Interfaith Clothes Closet has now gone mobile! For the time being, we have one distribution event per month. Check the schedule for details.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we move into the next exciting chapter.
